Rakuyozome
Rakuyouzome is Japan's four seasons beautiful dyed yarn.
Since the ancient time, the Japanese have constantly kept their fascination towards the beauty of their nature through out all the four seasons of the year; writing poems and songs deep from their hearts, enjoying wearing those colors on traditional Japanese clothes. However, under the influence of industrialization, the dyeing techniques since the Industrial Revolution in Europe has changed; chemical dyes have generalized through the world. The point is that the Japanese traditional colors tended to disappear from hands of dyeing masters. We tried to bring back to our contemporary times those ancient traditional colors and on the more, dye on Organic Cotton textile. The Rakuyouzome is the result of our perseverance in trying to achieve the renaissance of those natural colors we once lost. In other words, we brought to industrialization the universe of our artisans. A perfect harmony between Environment and Manufacture. With those gentle colors you will be able to experience the unique feel of Nature itself in your own hands.
Specification:
100% natural dyes ( no use of chemical dyes, less environmental impact)
In collaboration with Textile Technology Center of Kyoto, Kyoto’s Dye Manufacture and Dyeing Manufacturers, the Rakuyouzome is a success of Herbal Dyeing Industries. This technique is enhancing the colorfastness of the textile.
Even though it is Natural dyeing, the Lightfastness test has reached level 4 and above, The Friction test showed also very good results ( Level 3-4 cleared).
Even better than the Top dyeing technique, our dyeing method can produce very dark and concentrated colors. Organic cotton is currently used for dyeing but other material can be also used.

About GOTS standards
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres worldwide. It defines high level environmental criteria along the entire supply chain of organic textiles and requires compliance with social criteria as well. Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres can become certified according to GOTS. All chemical inputs s.a. dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria and also the choice of accessories is limited under ecological aspects. A functional waste water treatment plant is mandatory for any wet-processing unit involved and all processors must comply with social minimum criteria. The key criteria of GOTS, its quality assurance system and the principles of the review and revision procedure are summarized in this section.
Ecocertについて
Ecocert is an inspection and certification body established in France in 1991 by agronomists aware of the need to develop environmentally friendly agriculture and of the importance of offering some form of recognition to those committed to this method of production.
Ecocert contributed to the expansion of organic farming in the 1990s by helping to draw up French and European regulations. Still very involved in promoting organic farming, Ecocert today works with French and international institutions in supporting project development. By winning the confidence of professionals and consumers, Ecocert has become a benchmark in organic certification worldwide.
